Privacy policy [DRAFT — PRE-LAUNCH]

Accounts are not open yet. This draft states the rules the site is being built to; counsel review precedes account launch (operating entity: Fable Software LLC).

What we collect today

Nothing about you. No accounts, no cookies set by us, no third-party trackers, no analytics beacons beyond Cloudflare's cookieless page counts. Server logs (IP, user agent) are retained by our host for security and rotate automatically.

At member launch

Accounts add: email (verified, double-opt-in for any mailing), password hash, your content (posts, comments, saved filters), and vote events (with hashed IP for fraud control — never shown to anyone). We do not and will not sell or share personal information. Deletion: self-serve, 7-day cancelable grace, then hard-delete of identity data and anonymization of content in place; aggregate tallies and fraud logs survive. Full data-inventory table ships with the account system.
